Mexico City Apartment

This project is emblematic of our constant attention to detail. This Mexico City penthouse was our seventh project for this client, a media executive with an important art collection.

Our job was to reconcile the many faceted aspects of this spectacular apartment. The penthouse has stunning, panoramic views. However, the building’s octagonal footprint creates incredibly complex spaces and angles.

First, we chose to centre the apartment on its exceptional library. This room became the focal point of the apartment’s movement and interaction. We then worked to design intimate spaces with richly textured materials including Wengue wood, natural stone, and with a palette of warm colours. The living and entertaining spaces set a sophisticated tone complemented by the client’s art collection.

Each individual space was unique yet attuned to the greater whole of the 400 square meters, achieving the unity and balance we desired to create a spectacular penthouse apartment with sweeping views of the Valley of Mexico.
